What shipped, and what comes next
Launch — August 20, 2026
- Five maps: Anzac Cove, V Beach (Cape Helles), Ctesiphon, Kut Al Amara, and a fifth Sinai and Palestine map BlackMill chose not to name before release
- Two factions: the British Empire (British, ANZAC and Indian subfactions) and the Ottoman Empire
- Ten classes with two kits each; 150 weapons counting variants
- Expedition Mode: 25 versus 25, semi-randomised objectives across sectors
- 38 Steam achievements; class and weapon progression that unlocks perks and cosmetics, never content
Next free update — Ali Al Muntar
- Announced in the launch-day post as already in its final stages and releasing soon
- No date given by BlackMill; this site will not invent one
- Follows the studio's stated update shape: a map, weapons and new features per update
First Expedition — live now
- BlackMill splits its multi-year plan into Expeditions, each containing several free content updates on a theme
- The first Expedition went live at launch
Announced for later Expeditions
- The battle of Chunuk Bair and the New Zealand involvement, named for the Third Expedition
- The Caucasus front
- Significant French participation on the Entente side
- Ongoing work between updates: engine improvements, bot AI, onboarding and quality-of-life
Why the delay happened
BlackMill announced the delay in the same week as its Cosmetic Customization blog on May 19, 2026, thanking players for their messages in response. The studio did not publish a detailed technical breakdown of the reason, and this page will not manufacture one. What is visible in the record is the work that followed: the June 4 update pass on Ctesiphon and Anzac Cove describes lighting and weather changes plus cover balance adjustments driven by QA testing and the closed playtests — the kind of pass that takes calendar time.

Was Gallipoli delayed?

Is Gallipoli in Early Access?
